Move volume
The amount of furniture and boxes determines the truck size and how long loading and unloading take.
Distance
Local moves are charged hourly. Longer distances are quoted at a fixed rate based on route and volume.
Access conditions
Stairs, lifts, long carries and parking distance all affect the time a move takes. Tell us upfront for an accurate quote.
Additional services
Packing, unpacking, disassembly and reassembly, and specialty items like pianos add to the base rate — quoted separately, never hidden.
Timing
Weekends, public holidays and peak season (Dec–Feb) can carry a surcharge. Mid-week moves often have better availability and pricing.
Insurance
Standard public liability and transit insurance is included on every job. Additional high-value item coverage is available on request.
