1. Written quotes & hourly rates

All hourly rates and fixed-price quotes include GST, fuel within Greater Brisbane, and standard transit protection. Local hourly moves begin when the crew arrives at your pickup address and finish when unloading is complete at your drop-off address, plus the fixed depot travel time stated on your booking confirmation. Time is billed in fair 15-minute increments after the two-hour minimum, and the rate we quote is the rate you pay.

2. Rescheduling & cancellation

Settlement dates and lease handovers change — we understand. You may reschedule or cancel free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice before your scheduled arrival window. Any deposit paid is refunded in full or carried over to your new moving date. Cancellations inside 48 hours may incur a fee equal to the two-hour minimum, disclosed at the time of booking.

3. Insurance & our damage-care guarantee

Brisbane Best Movers carries $10,000,000 in public liability insurance (covering property damage to walls, floors and common areas) and $100,000 in goods-in-transit insurance (covering fire, collision, overturning and handling damage by our crew). Owner-packed boxes are covered against external crushing or vehicle incident; for fragile glass and artworks we recommend our professional pre-packing service. Please report any damage within 48 hours so we can put it right quickly.

4. Payment methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS and direct bank transfer on completion of your move. A tax invoice with our ABN is issued immediately upon payment.

5. Service area & access

We service Brisbane metro and surrounding suburbs — Ipswich, Logan, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Redlands. Quotes assume reasonable access at both addresses; anything that changes the job (stairs beyond two flights, long carries, items not disclosed when booking) is raised and priced before the clock starts, never after.
